Go SOUNDERS!!!!!!!!!!

(And I don't care if you don't like soccer)

If we are going Euro, embrace the suck. Go SOUNDERS!! Galaxy are going down like a bad meteorite. GO SSFC!!!!

We have an office in Seattle and last year when I visited they were taking the whole office to a game and I was invited. I had never been to a soccer game (baseball is my sport), but I had a great time. Those guys RUN the entire game from one end of the field to the other continuously and the excitement from the crowd of even a near miss is pretty amazing.

How about slugging it out like hockey?

Even in houseleague hockey, kids are told to 'skate it off' and 'play through it' and parents end up having to take them to Emerg after the game for x-rays...

I played it (7-8th grade)

Wussification? To quote the movie "Dogma", "soccer is the second most tiring sport, behind mass genocide"

Those guys do more running/tiring skills than BOTH teams on a football field

Who's Russel Wilson?
Seattle has a great fan base along with Portland. My hats off to supporters of both teams. Bayern Munich and Newcastle are my euro teams. But I have great hope for the MSL.

LOL

I've watched soccer when in sports bars and things and I can't for the life me see any appeal to the game.

It's an excellent sleep aid, and it teaches kids some very important lessons about coping with boredom.

When I grew up, soccer was something you played once or twice a year in gym class.

Now, holy cow!

I guess it frees up your hands to text with.

The cool thing is you stand the whole game - even when you watch! Did that surprise you?

Soccer. Two 45 minutes halves. Short half-time.

I love baseball, but 3-4 hours games? I love it in the summer on the radio, baseball is great. Working on something. Plinking. Whatever.

Football on TV is great. Live NFL regular season games absolutely SUCK. Bad. The fans and the players just stand there waiting for TV breaks to end. BORING!! You guys can't defend that. Soccer is way better. I'm not even kidding.

The NY - DC play off games were very athletic. The RSL goalie? That guy isn't human. And for you maniacs, there has been tons of blood this year. Diving does happen, coaches hate dive players, they don't last long.

GO SOUNDERS!!!
