Soccer takes a lot of endurance and skill. I understand the frustration of Americans raised watching nothing but NFL, but soccer is no joke and an a great sport. It's entirely different. I could deal with the less flip flopping drama, but look at the big picture. It's a great game and wouldn't have survived if it wasn't good!!!!

"Soccer is a great sport" thats so. BUT it would be better if they didnt run so much. a shorter field would be more interesting.

I still don't like it, and I was good too. Wussification of America in full swing IMHO.

Wussification? To quote the movie "Dogma", "soccer is the second most tiring sport, behind mass genocide"

Those guys do more running/tiring skills than BOTH teams on a football field
Yes, wussification. Distance runners, cyclists, cross country, and tennis are all tiring too, but there isn't one competitor that I've ever heard of being referred to as a tough guy. You need contact, get hit, bang bodies, feel some pain. That is sports. Soccer may have a little of that, but no where near what basketball, football, and hockey do.

Man u is my team, don't get to watch much anymore.
Was fishing on the pere marquette and there was a British guy with a man u jersey on fishing next to me :-).

Oh, you mean like professional wrestling? Those guys do take a beating. I would rather play socceer though. I do not need to be referred to as a tough guy.
