Drove the ZHP from Raleigh, NC to Knoxville, TN ... was fun to drive along the windy mountain areas near Asheville, (near TN/NC border)

A 'friend' who rode along us

our 330 Ci said "hey"

Light at the end of the Tunnel...

Didn't exactly obey the rules....

i think he ignorantly assumed that because people upload so many pics, especially random pics like this, on social networking sites, that that must be the only place it should be done. or something like that...

makes me wonder if he paid any attention to the fact this is posted in a PHOTO section....

Interesting, your speedo has both Miles and Km/H. My M5 only has Km/h......

Next,Bill, to your inquiry on not getting my comment.Not only is this an oil webite.Moreso,this is not the fly by the seat of your pants ,wizz-bang, say what ever comes to mind, posting completely irrellevant details ,blah- blah- how I feel- blah. This is a guys site, like it or not.This is what I have found to be the last refuge of mans sanity amongts the encrosion( I actually tried to spell check) of the hip-hippity-hop era ,and I ask those that know that I mean,in a most hospitible way.And by the way I don't hold you accountable(jakegday) for saying I'm ignorant...I've been called worse.It's not you,It's the mindset.

you have a link or some other proof that this "rule" exists? or is that just how you personally feel?
either way, there is indeed a link between road trips, and motor oil/cars. see if you can figure it out..

No rule,Quite personal, and I can see that you've come a long way from doing a "drive-by" Thereforto ,you've seen what everybody posts.What I have found ,and maybe you can compliment my thoughts,is that there should be some similance of guyhood in this forum,I wont shout you out,or demean you, just do the same for me.After all were all guys.Understanding that ,were different in the fact that we came up in a different "era" and to say the least .....the bar on the left does say "current topics".

FL_Rob I think this a perfect forum spot for his pics and comments. I really like the bmw passing pic by the way. There are plenty who show up in this section to show off their new camera or camera skills. It's good to see a different topic other than cars sometimes now and then. I think if you can't say anything nice don't waste your energy typing anything.

That's just it.... this IS a motor oil website .I don't have any say in the "recent topics" board,just what is posted...pics are fine if they're engine oil related ,other than that,or mech related its'( in my opinion)irrelevant.

You got a bad attitude. This is kinda a like a social networking site as its a very clean and safe family oriented site where people can unwind and possibly make good life long friends. But if everyone like you were to post negative posts like this one that you started in this post it would eventually lead to where no one posts on anything on this site in being afraid all he or she would receive would be negative comments. I hope you don't post much on this site as Karma always comes two fold.

Oh, FL Robs -

The photo and off topic sections are for ANY topic - pics have been posted of pets, members themsleves, their watches, their gardens etc etc - it's PHOTO section - no matter what topic.
At least my topic had to do with cars/driving, which is related to motor oil - but i have posted pics of flowers, animals, books, and just pics i thought were just interesting. There are NO topic restrictions on this section, and there were none at any time.

If you have no interest in a thread, just get the heck off the thread without wasting comments on it, and go jump in a fornicating lake.

You should see some of our backroads around here. Plenty of blind switchbacks. The police have really ramped up the speed enforcement though, which is a good thing I guess. We get a lot of bikers on the dragon and it seems like almost every month someone loses it and gets killed up there.
