One day Albert Einstein wrote on the blackboard:

9 x 1 = 9

9 x 2 = 18

9 x 3 = 27

9 x 4 = 36

9 x 5 = 45

9 x 6 = 54

9 x 7 = 63

9 x 8 = 72

9 x 9 = 81

9x10 = 91

In class they mocked him and made fun of him because he had made a mistake, as the correct answer for 9 x10 is 90.

Albert Einstein waited for everyone to shut up and said: ′′ Despite me answering the first 9 questions correctly, no one congratulated me. Instead, when I got one wrong, everyone started laughing. This means that despite being very successful, society will only notice the smallest mistake and make fun of it. Don't let simple criticism destroy your dreams ".

Only those who do nothing don't make mistakes.

Einstein's been wrong before. Just look at Einstein's Box. But he's got a good one in the EPR Paradox.

I believe that I am Stein has been accused of pirating other great mathematician's works, just as Shakespeare was accused of doing the same. Someone even once tried to try to tell me that Shakespeare was responsible for writing the King James Holy Bible; although I'm not I don't think we can talk about that on this board.

Seems to be a common trend, I wonder if we will ever know if it is true.

I think we should rename this the TOYOTA SYNDROME. They are reported to be the most reliable, well built vehicles in the world, and yet most problems I see mentioned here involve Toyotas.
You can do great job for years, but screw up one time......!

I think we should focus more on confirmation bias and statistical analysis vs anecdotal evidence.

I used to really get upset when I'd make a mistake and I do think people would notice that and make the situation worse. Now that I'm older, I am much closer to the "just not caring" side of the equation. Those old feelings are still there, but they go away fast :)

You forgot the space between 9 and x ... 😄

I got Einstein's box of bagels once and they were great.
Yeah, but what about the EPR Paradox? Iron man I think in Avenger's Endgame said of course, the EPR Paradox and then went ahead and created time travel. But the EPR Paradox has nothing to do with time travel. I think...
