Good that things a getting better! Makes the job a little more fun now...

After hearing those stories about the 200, Jeep, and Dart recalls, starting to make me wonder if I should even look into a Jeep Patriot (wife likes them), granted that design is nearly 10 years old, one would think most of the stuff would be fixed...

My mom had the "Omni Miser" with 1.7 VW engine and 50-ish HP. Was on its third clutch at 82k miles when we traded it on a Mazda 323. I don't know how it had enough power to wear them out... Oh, and door handles. Lots of those.

I wonder if someone opened the "transmission filler" to top off the oil. If so...they poured it right into the clutch.

The Patriot is not (and never really was) an impressive vehicle.

The Dart was rushed into production. I would say it's alright to buy a 2015 or 16. They had all kinds of transmission issues from the autoshift dry clutch automatic to the slave cylinder on the manual. I think that's been worked out by now. Otherwise, the Dart is a good car with the regular automatic trans and the 2.0 engine.

Yes they are. Thats been confirmed. I understand the production lines will be converted to Ram and Jeep production, much higher profit margins.

Too bad, because the 200 and 300 are good looking vehicles.

I rented both and liked how they drove. I would never buy that brand of car, but they make nice rental/fleet vehicles.

You can tell my work is picked up business wise as I just posted a filter for member Cutter and 2 others. Soon I'll post a Performax PZ-167 off our one shop Chevy truck

Yes they are. Though the 300 isn't affected by this, it is based on the larger LX platform like the Charger.
