I have started to use Sta-Bil marine formula in my 2-cycle and 4-cycle OPE fuels,,, Man, what a difference! You all have seen my post on my TB blower Troy-Bilt Blower. I have an older T/B trimmer (same engine, different carb setup). Well, the trimmer had some issues, mainly losing power at full throttle.
I started running Sta-Bil Marine about a month ago, and darn it, if it did not get rid of that bog down going from idle to full. I still have a rebuild kit at the ready, Just in Case. I have also added a splash of MMO and am using Opti-2 oil now, but not at 100:1 just 50:1 ratio. The Stihl ultra is a little pricey, and I can get the Opti at my local dealer. Low smoke. But I think that the Sta-Bil marine is the wonder drug for E-10 problems with OPE.
