A/C Schrader Valves same as tire Schrader valve?

Does anybody know if the Schrader valve in R134A system is the same as the Schrader valve in a tire? Same thread, seal materials, removal tool, etc?

No, not interchangeable, I believe different size and made to seal refridgerant oil as well, not just air like a tire.

Same size and removal tool for the small one. You can use r134a ones in a tire but not tire ones in refrigerant.

Some A/C Schrader valves are bigger. I replaced the high pressure valve on my Ranger last month. My tire valve removal tool was too small to fit on it. I had to buy a bigger tool specifically meant for A/C valves. The tool is double-ended; large size on one side, smaller size on the other. The larger valve also has a larger diameter on the threaded end.

There are more than a few different sizes for the valves, even R134A.
