That "Federated" brand filter is made by Purolator, and the pleats looks better than most of their own Purolator branded filters.

Yeah that is correct... The Federated Auto parts filters are premium guard made.

At least those filters really hold up really well. The adbv has been known to be tough and hard a bit.

Though the black pg Federated Auto parts filters with the silicone adbv are very good and pliable after use.

That is true Zee... The base plate looks exactly like the Purolator one. Surprised me that it looked so much like it in fact.

I had a pan full of filter parts. There’s a good chance I may hav mixed up a picture. It might have been the Motorcraft base plate.

I have never used the PG filters, but most C&P have looked very good. Or am I missing something?
