Super idea, thanks for sharing. Would only take me a few days to drink the soda from 643 bottles if it was Diet Pepsi.

Bright idea, cost nothing !
I'd like to figure out a way to run fiber optic through the walls like romex, with little half ping pong balls that clip on to the ends. Would be great for getting free, cold light into closets and a windowless interior bathroom.
My cutlass ciera had a "fiber optic light source" (12v bulb) that, as far as I could tell, led to a blue dot on the headlight switch-- and nowhere else.
