In hot weather, usually above 80 degrees, after the above listed van has been driven, sometimes it does not start. Not even a crank. Then after sitting 30-60 minutes, it MAY start. I have already had the relay replaced and still having the same problem. This never occurs in the winter so I am not worried about it now, but would like to finally get it fixed before summer. Any ideas? It has 101k miles btw.

Perhaps bad starter. I would carry a long breaker bar or broom handle and give it a wrap the next time it happens. This worked on two cars for me.
Any 'clicking noises?"

^Starter is overheating, used to be a common problem in the old days ('70s & before).

Once the bearings are worn they expand during hot weather from engine heat and allow the armature to sag down and drag on the field windings. If the truck is missing its heat shield it will make it worse. For some models they make an after market heat shield. Ford's 460 engine is probably the most affected.

I have a similar issue on my '99 F-150. I took the starter apart and refreshed it, it was in much better shape than a Tacoma starter with similar mileage that I refreshed recently, but no improvement. On a cold start, warm start, or a hot start within 1 minute of shutdown it starts fine. On a hot start more than a minute from shutdown it has to be turned over 6-10 seconds before it fires. Nothing to do with your issue, but on mine I currently suspect a loss of fuel pressure--a leaky injector or fuel pump check valve.
