I don't know if the door is just stuck locked, but the outer and inner door handles do nothing when pulled. Vehicle has power locks, didn't listen for actuation when button pressed and didn't look for a manual locking mechanism (had no time). Besides the obvious check for a manual lock, what else do I check? Pull the door panel off (is it all just clips, pull it off and done?) and check for disconnected lock rods? I tried Googling without much helpful result - mostly just power door stuff.

The wipers don't move. The wiper motor is audible. I can't remove the wiper arms (their locking mechanism seem to have broken off), so can't remove the wiper cowl without breaking it. Is there anything I can do, or is it time to stock up on Rain-X? There's no rear wiper either, seems to be missing a motor and arm assembly entirely, but there are over 9000 Caravans at the local junkyard so I can pick them up there if I'm inclined, or at least once it's not so scorchingly hot.

If it's the sliding door on the gas fill side, check the gas cap door. My 2000 Caravan has an interlock to prevent the door from being opened when fueling.

There might be a kid proof lock for the inside handle. Might be a latch at the rearward edge of the door as well as the one up front... and the connector could be out of calibration. Could try kicking outside at the rear, front, wherever to shake something loose.

You probably have to have the door open to get the trim off cleanly. If you don't mind wrecking it you can make some plunge cuts in the plastic with an angle grinder very quickly.

I don't need to get this door open, it's a friend's beater/work vehicle and it doesn't matter either way. I was just wondering if it'd be a quick fix. I'll start by examining more closely tomorrow and seeing if I can take the door panel off.

... the door was locked. It's a manual lock, unconnected to the power lock system it seems.

So, how about those wipers? Without the locking slide pin thing that allows the wiper arms to be removed, is there anything that can be done?
