88 accord od pops in and out

used tranny: car is mainly used for short around town trips so this doesn't matter that much but when car is up in 4th (od) the torque coverter ? seems to make the car pop back and forth from 3rd to 4th for no reason ...will a LC ( I have some ) or ARX perhaps help this ?

Seems that Honda recommended Lubegard for these model year accords. You can purchase the Lubegard additive under the AAMCO brand at Autozone.

If you are right at the speed/range that the torque converter is locking up, this will happen. It is annoying.
Different pressure solenoids are available to change the lock up point.
If it is really switching between gears at a steady speed, I hope the lubeguard works.

Did you change the ATF yet?
And the ATF level is correct?

How many miles? transmission maintenance history?

I have changed the fluid twice in 3 months ...don't know the history ..it came from junkyard? off ebay ..paid 125$$ for it.other then that it is fine....first drain had some fileing on plug next drain none ...will do the lube guard
