87 Camry ? about idle dropping low after starting

Hello to all,
I have a 87 Camry 2.0 5 speed and have a problem with the idle dropping low when I start the car ONLY after it is extremely hot (been traveling far). The weird thing is it only does it intermittently and it can easily be fixed by either giving the car a lot of gas (revving up the motor) or turn the car off (or let it conk out) then restart the engine. Okay so I am giving up here the following is a list of what I have done to fix the problem.....
egr valve replaced & cleaned, egr valve solenoid/modulator inspected and tiny filter replaced, all vacuums lines inspected visually and by hand thoroughly, sensors i.e. tps and numerous others unplugged while the engine was running to test them and make sure they were working properly. In addition throttle body cleaned thoroughly, pcv/hose/tube cleaned & replaced. So again I am perplexed here as to what to check next or where to look? Can someone please help/advise me here and what to look for next and what they thing it might be. I am sure someone on these forums has had it happen to them or something similar look forward to hearing from you thanks.

Could be lots of things. Last time this happened to me when my head gasket is leaking, the driving build up pressure in the cooling system and when shut down, forces coolant into the cylinder and makes it hard to start, warm or cold, after a long drive. I pull the plugs and found green ground tips on 2 cylinders. They were also so stuck that I bent my plug wrench removing them.

were those carbed? Id check back to basics and check base timing. Once your at base timing, adjust your idle accordingly.

I dont remember on those cars but were they equipped with a IAb (intake air bypass valve)? Its a valve that regulates air when at idle to keep and sustain an idle. In my accord it was clogged with sud and would cause a low idle because it didnt let enough air by when the throttle was closed. I cleaned it out and actually had to re-adjust the idle so that it wont be so high haha. However it was a serviceable unit.

I had an issue with a Ford doing that years ago. It was a TPS sensor, not sure about Honda. It could also be an IAC if so equipped.

No carbs the car is EFI Electronic Fuel Injection. Good question you raise here my friend I don't know if my car has a intake air bypass valve. Can you advise me as to what this looks like and where it would be on the car? Also do you know or does anyone here know if 87-91 toyota camry has these please advise thanks.

No the car is not overheating good question though. Do you know if and where the air intake by pass valve is on a 87 camry or if they even have one please advise thanks.

Clean your throttle body bore and plate with solvent and a rag - do a nice job.
This has to be right no matter what, and is always good to do.
If this down not fix it, then clean the idle air motor.
