My 2017 Buick Regal with the 2.0 turbo has 40K miles and I'm looking to drain and refill the automatic transmission fluid with some fresh Dexron 6. I saw a thread on here about the procedure, reminds me of the simplicity of my 5 speed Honda transmission fluid changes, which is great. On the Honda's, I would simply drain the fluid cold, measure what I took out in a quart measuring cup, then replace with the exact same amount. Hoping this will be ok with my Buick? I've read other comments about only doing it at full operation temps, using a scan tool, etc....am I overthinking it or should my method be OK? Thank you!
