Im looking to see what alternatives would be a good choice.
GM 602 Crate motor 395 hp
6200 Rpm
Mobil 1 15w40
Wix 51061R
Oil Changed after every 3 nights.

I was wondering if a fram xg5 would be a good alternative? Ive seen some people running a B6 baldwin.

The Baldwin are good. Maybe a K&N oil filter with the nut on the end? Are you running leaded race gas, methanol, or VP racing 104+ fuel? I'd get a used oil analysis done as you should be able to get more than three sessions out of the oil?

Someone posted this question in 2023. Wix offers a racing filter. I also see Moroso oil filters but don't know who makes them.

Do you know your oil temps? and how many hours per night?

The baldwin b6 is good but you could use the carquest 85060. It's made by premium guard and they make fabulous filters. I've never seen a failed one or even one that didn't look great every time a cut one is posted.

What kind of longevity do you get from one of them motors? I assume since it's sealed, that has to do with rules. Are you able to rebuild these type of engines?

Since it's "sealed", probably more likely buying a new sealed engine after it blows up if racing in that class.

For anyone wondering, this is not a 602CI motor. It is a 350CI motor that is a sealed spec motor for a class and "602" is the last part of the part number.
Thanks for clarifying, I saw 602 and thought “what a monster” but then the 395 hp didn’t add up.
