The MB's are good if you leave them stock, and PM them correctly, which is why I did consider a GLC43 AMG, for sure. Ultimately, I'd much rather an X3M Comp, which is what I'd buy if I were forced to go back to a gasser. It's basically a good gas powered comparison to the EV6 GT, albeit in different body style and with a nicer interior (in my opinion) at the expense of some performance attributes. However, it is also a "best in class" option, and appeals to me. I freely admit that the R4P was the gateway drug that got me into EV's though, and now? I just can't see going back to a gasser. They're inefficient and annoying when I drive them, now, say, as a loaner or rental or whatever. It's like "why is this stupid thing shifting? What's shifting? For why?!" lol!
The Mazda is still an EXCELLENT choice in its price range and very well engineered, as is the RAV4 Prime. I literally drive best in class vehicles. You drive...odd stuff.
