5w40 rotella

I run the synthetic 2w40 rotella in the winter months here, but I'm thinking of running it all year round. In the summer i pull a fifth wheel. But the 5w40 still has the characteristics of a 40 weight oil, so I figure it should be good for warmer weather too?? Just looking for input from anyone.......... thanks in advance....

Should be fine, the rotella is a pretty robust oil

I used to run it year round in my powerstroke. No reason you would need to change to anything else.
