I like what I see with this change, Detroit 4-53T now has 50,000 miles since I put new rings and bearings in it. Hardly any metal wear, so looks like it's finally broken in. Sent out an oil sample to BlackStone Labs to see.
No, as the oil goes through an Amsoil Dual Guard first then through the Frantz. I have in the past run a MotorGuardM100 and a Puradyn MTS 24 in series and that worked well on my Cummins. Never changed the oil, just the M100 every 3000 miles.

For many years Frantz had a 2 3 and 4 stacker. Up to 4 Frantz canisters in a larger canister. What it amounted to is up to 4 Frantzs in parallel. Motor Guard ran 2 3 and 4 in parallel using manifolds.
When I was doing diesels about 20 years ago a fleet owner with mostly Ford Powerstrokes ordered Gulf Coast O1s bolted to the frame. That filter at the time used one roll of.Bounty big roll paper towel. The filter is fed by about a 1/16 inch orifice at the inlet. Some gasoline Ford industrial engines used the Gulf Coast junior toilet paper filter. The big trucks used the Gulf Coast O2 that used 2 rolls of Bounty big roll paper towels. Now they are in a bag. Had an expert looking over my shoulder. They brought me Walmart diesel rated conventional oil. Told me oil is oil. They called me years later.said they had more trucks. Told them to call Gulf Coast filters.
