It should be fine, isn't going to hurt anything that's for sure, given that the 6.4L has very similar internals and clearances and spec's the 0W-40.

It stays in grade and I've never seen any reports of the 5.7L prematurely experiencing issues like oil consumption or the like with the spec xW-20 grade. Also, our truck has the factory heat exchanger, so oil temps are very well controlled.

Hemi 5.7 is tolerant of grade. I have run 20, 30, and 40-grade oils, including HDEO, with no issues in 163,000+ miles.

This. If you've got some of the metallurgically compromised lifters, no oil is going to prevent their eventual failure, but 2022 should be outside that window, using the updated German lifters.

I ran redline 0w-40 for 6ish thousand miles and that was the heaviest oil i used. Definately thicker at all temperatures than HPL supercar 0w-40. Ive got supercar 0w-30 in now with a case of 0w-40 lined up next
