Anyone know the torque sequence for the 4r100 transmission pan bolts on a 98 Expedition?
Also torque. I believe it is 11 ft/lbs
Also pan drain bolt

This is what the manual says.

I doubt it matters. Torque sequence is needed for components that are extremely rigid. Relatively speaking, a transmission pan is flexible.

Correct. Just go and tighten everything in a randomish cross-cross pattern. Maybe go back a couple days later and double check.

Not sure it makes any difference, but my old pan had the drain bolt off the back of the deepest well of the pan, with a 3 raised raised lines and a dimple for the magnet to set on. The new pan from dealer has drain bolt on bottom of pan and no provisions for magnet suspension off the bottom of the pan

There is a small circle and a slight indent on the bottom of the well next to the bolt. Is it possible it missed the stamping for the magnet support? Or will the magnet just sit on the bottom of the pan now?
