3mpg loss with GC

I dont see how a differnet type oil can cost you 3mpg. Something else is going on also.

3 mpgs are a bit high . Maby a .01 of a mpg.

My father claimed his VQ35HR-powered car saw about 1 MPG drop on GC. That is like 3%.

IF you took a hit for 3mpg, that would mean to me there is more power being used to pump the oil, thicker oil splash on the rods, etc creating extra effort for the engine to spin... If this was the case, the engine would no doubt be unable to produce as much horsepower so performance would be down...
