I had said recently that it was gonna get many new parts on the R18Z1 and I figured I would show you the results. I have been using XADO and VERYLUBE Turbo for over the last 100,000 Miles and Redline Oil since 155,000 when I switched over from PUP. Some mixes were 1:1 with M1 0w30 to try and use up the 0w30 stash I had accumulated LOL 😅. I had used Redline Water wetter also at one ounce per coolant drain and fill. Replaced timing chain, follower, tensioner, adjust valves, belts, etc. Good news the high zinc Redline Oil had no affect on the timing chain and could have been used as the stretch was ever so slight. We noticed that all metal/metal contact points were super smooth still. Only additives I ever used was mostly Archoil 9100,9200 and 9300 along with XADO Atomic Twin Turbo, VERYLUBE turbo and Gen 1 Xado revitalization packets (1) after every 20,000 Miles. Hope you enjoy the pictures and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

What made you decide to replace parts? Maybe you posted about that already, but I didn't see it.
Fear. If the chain breaks its game over. Besides as far as I have gone, why not. I get a inheritance check every year and bought some home furnishings and decided I wanted to keep the old car running as its still 35mpg or more even over 75mph. I'd like to get to 500,000 and then have it repainted and get the bumps out too. Want to make it look like this._spoiler and all. https://www.gillmanhondahouston.com...uston-tx-df3a7d1b0a0e0a1752fed13a6026d5b8.htm

Nice pictures!! A graphic testament of using XADO, VERYLUBE, and Redline at the same time...:sneaky:
Xado revitalize and good for 62000 miles, then just Redline and Verylube Turbo. I thinks its similar to LM Ceratec. Im actually happy its still running. Some will say to do this or that but until they have done it their thoughts or suggestions are lacking and unwarranted.

Looks great.

Did you leak it down to find out how worn it was?
Thanks. No,after doing the Xado revitalize treatments long ago I noticed better idle and acceleration so my rear end dyno told me that things were okay. I have boroscoped it before after Xado and things were nice and shiny. My dad is sick so other things on my mind. Got offered free dyno run and might try it but if there isnt much consumption and mpg still above 35mpg I might just remain content.
