I have a 3 ton Urrea. It is much bigger than your average 3 ton. The ram looks to be 10 ton rated, the jack is nearly 4 feet long not including the handle. It works great. It was made in Spain, looks to be mostly hand made. It was over $500 though.

I have a Hein Warner. VERY heavy and very robust. Used for years and no issue, very reliable and I find it quite trustworthy.

Ive used and reviewed the HF small aluminum jack. Light enough for one finger carry, but at the same rating it flexes a ton and was unable to lift the same mass that the HW could in a comfortable way. Still its super light, so if youre not looking to lift an entire axle but rather a quarter at a time, the price and weight is really phenominal.

But Id have a quality one first and foremost, like the Hein Warner. I love that thing, even if it is inconvenient to move.

Sounds like my Snap-On. They are both made by the same company just on a different floor. Made in AMERICA... OORAH!!!

Milwaukee Hydraulics Model 40. American made - buy once, cry once. I have the Model 20, 2 ton version.

Hein Werner, Blackhawk, Lincoln, etc - good ol' USA quality stuff. Check Craigs List, want ads, PennySaver, business auctions, etc for a good used one. That old corner gas station that gets turned in a self serve/minimart is a prime source. Even if it needs work - there is very little to go wrong and new seal kits are available, they are easy and worth fixing. I have a Hein Werner 2 ton that is at least 25 years old and never a problem. I wouldn't touch most of the POS import junk on the market. My 2 Ton easily beats the over rated 3 and 4 ton stuff sold now.

i second on these jacks top quality

I got one of those 3.5T Arcan jacks 5 years ago and it's still working nicely. Part time use as I'm not a professional mechanic but seem to always be tinkering like most of you guys.

Is that your "go to jack"? Its such a heavy jack to roll around and how many vehicles need it. My 1 1/2 ton (20 year old Craftsman) can handle anything but Bobcat.
