When shopping for scissor jacks online, I don't see any familiar brand names so any recommendations would be welcome. An impact wrench will be part of the kit, so the scissor jack should have a fitting for it. Hopefully made in the USA

It's for a sedan curb weight 4000 lbs

I'd look for one with a good base.. they are tip over prone and can be dangerous to use roadside (vs a paved lot etc)
also: made in the usa good luck.

Most have a ring on one end.. so you would need a socket that will fit that and turn it.

Is this a fantasy wish list?
under $60 for USA made??? Struggling not to laugh out loud.

Get a real budget if you want USA.
Decent quality HD NON-USA are near $100

Now if you just want HF jack..

Of course if you use an impact wrench on that you could damage the threads and have it collapse instantly.

Scissor jacks can be dangerous.. you dont have to go very wrong to break it or have it go tin foil on you.

For cheap ones this Home Depot model does not look terrible.

My problem with non-OE scissor jacks is the universal coupling. Or no coupling at all.

I don’t trust them.

My Volvo and Mercedes OE scissor jacks attach to the car’s jack points securely. They aren’t going anywhere.

That said, the base on the OE jacks is puny. I have an 8”x8”x2” piece of wood in each car just in case.

Give up using an impact on it, in the unlikely case you need it crank it manually. If you are forcing it to lift something is wrong and you need that feedback.

Idk how factory jacks are rated, but you probably dont need 2 tons. The purpose is to lift 1 corner to replace the wheel, not much capacity is really required.

I agree with the other posters, find a OE jack. Look for a similar sedan or small SUV and see if its jack would work in your application.

The one included on Ford F150 confidently changes travel trailer tires. Looks like it has a fairly generic top plate. Could be a good OE option.

I know the question is kind of old but if you're still looking I would suggest the oem Toyota bottle jacks that come with the Tundras & 4Runners. They are compact, non-hydraulic and better than any scissor jack I've ever worked with. They can usually be had cheap at a scrapyard or pick-and-pull.
