Trying to figure out if this was just a good one and it survived 190k with no metalurgy defects, and if it can make it 190k will it go longer? Or is an a failure right around the corner.

I know valve seats and roller rockers fail left and right on these. Thoughts?

I believe a large portion of the failures on these is people simply not changing their oil at decent intervals.

Change your oil at 5,000 miles or sooner and it could have a lot of life left in it. I have seen Pentastars with 300,000 miles.

In my opinion, the most important consideration when buying a used car is the oil change interval of the previous owner(s). Carfax's sometimes show oil change date and mileage if oil changes are done by dealer or chain store. If vehicle had 10k or more oil changes it's whole life and odometer is 100,000+ miles, it's a disqualifier for me.

My wife has a 2014 T&C with the 3.6L. I change the oil when the EVIC says to. I use Mopar filters and HM FS motor oil in a 5w30 viscosity. OCI's are usually between 8k and 9.5K miles. Van has 90k on it and we drove a 1400 mile trip last week to Canada and back... I suspect the drivetrain will outlast the body on this van given the Midwest winters.

Just my $0.02

Yes I agree with tnt_motorsport. 2014 Jeep GC Limited with 82,000 miles and you can't hardly hear it run. OCI's are usually around 35 to 40% with a MityVac suck and and refill. Filter is on the top and extremely easy to change.
