First of all, please, put in a more descriptive title....

What is "3.3" in a title suppose to mean when hundreds or thousands of people see it?

WAY too many people do this here.

other than a few very high hths products, 4 qts of brand "X" 5w30 + 1 qt of brand "X" 5w-40 or 10w-40 would work for any of the very popular oils

Castrol GTX HM 5w30 3.3+

Castrol GTX HM 10w30 3.5

Most other HM 30 grades will be in your desired range as well except Maxlife which is barely, it's on the low side HTHS wise, 3.0 and 3.1 respectively 5w30 and 10w30.

Rotella 10w30 also 3.5.

If you're not interested in a HM oil, blending as suggested above will do you well. Most PCMO's are going to give you a HTHS of 3.3 to 3.4 if you use a 50/50 mix of 5w30 and 10w40.

Why under 3.5HTHS? I'd grab Castrol 0w30 if you are looking for a readily available synthetic right at your top specified range. Sure it has a relatively narrow VI but I think the rest of its attributes make it an excellent choice.

Another good suggestion, good for extended drains and even on sale at AAP right now for BOGO pricing.
