26cc leaf blower vacuum?

I bought my wife a Poulan Pro PRB26 last year as it was on sale at Tractor Supply ($99) and I think it does a good job for it's size.
It depends on where you are using it. We use it on stairs and the patio and deck. I run canned gas in it and it fires up on the 2nd or 3rd pull.
We have a 8HP push blower for the lawn.

Pretty sure my echo is 25cc. It works well.
Years ago (mid-late 90s), I had a ryobi. It broke It’s connecting rod after lots of use with vacuum. I liked that machine, ran it a ton.
The one thing about that old ryobi vs my echo is this:
The echo starts super easy, runs great, no issues. But I really don’t like how the vac tube attaches. It uses a big hose clamp and a set of “fingers” that connect to the vac tube. It can detach very easily, sometimes falls off by itself, and if you get a stick stuck in there, you have to remove it. This requires a screwdriver to be in your pocket all the time. What a pain for prolonged use and messy areas. The quarter turn vac bag attachment isn’t as positive as I’d like, and doesn’t go on and off as easily. In that regard, I like the old ryobi better... the ryobi also never stalled, while the echo can get bogged down or even stall. Maybe that’s why the ryobi broke its rod after all... but regardless, the echo, for as great as it runs and blows, does get tripped up on sticks easily. Maybe it runs too well - maybe the old ryobi was weaker and couldn’t lift sticks as easily? But that’s a consideration.
end of the day,mft and weight are the key things to consider. Ive been the same height since high school when I was running the ryobi. The echo makes me slump over in ways I never had to with the ryobi unit. It gets very uncomfortable, especially as the bag fills up. So height for holding, weight of the unit, and weight of a full bag all come into consideration too...

I have a relatively new Ryobi "Jet Fan Blower" that has a 25cc engine. It does not vacuum ability, strictly a blower. It blowers leaves, yard debris and even snow very well considering it's a 25cc engine.
25cc is enough for a handheld blower. Vac, larger helps, but I'll never again use one as a vac after years of having to take the entire thing apart to clean out the dusty goop. I'll sooner just blow leaves to an accessible area to mow/mulch them and leave in place.
