Severe viscosity drop! On the Ioniq forum boards, fuel dilution is par for the course.

This was the dexos1 Gen3 version of Mobil1 5W30

After the M1, i put 0w20 GTX Syn in. After seeing this UOA, i just changed that out to Valvoline 10W30 i had already bought.

Honestly not that bad and I'd continue to use it. Sure it went down to 7.6 from 11.1cst but that's what it was meant to have in it. A 20 grade.

In the next run If you want a slightly thicker but also cheaper 5w-30 quaker state full syn is 11.7cst and on walamrt shleves for $21. The 10w-30 version is thinner. Same with valvoline theyre 10cst.

PP euro L 5w-30 is a low saps 12.5cst oil and $25 but avaiability is pretty low. But the engine would be just fine. Seeing a 3.4cst drop from shear and dilution i'd almost be afraid to run a 7-8cst 20 grade.

I can safely say we use Safety Kleen blend 5w30 DEXOS 1 Gen3 oil without issue. Changed at 6k also we do
