2026 F250 7.3l. Is it recommended to do an early fluid change on front/ rear differential? Transmission and transfer case? If so, at what mileage and do you recommend OEM fluids or something better? I have decided that I will change the engine oil and filter by 1000 miles. What do you say about the other fluids?

Thanks!!

I'd say its up to you.

I changed my rear diff and t-case at 10,000 miles on my 2025 F150. Those parts will probably outlast the rest of the truck.

Don't know what Ford is calling for in the SD's, I suspect LV for the T-Case (I used Maxlife because I but the 20qt box).

Biggest thing will be frequent ATF D&F's on the 10R...100? 140? That's the one part you want to keep clean fluid in always.

Can't say about your Ford, but Honda recommends changing the rear diff fluid in the Pilot at 7500 miles, then every 30k thereafter. Seems they have enough data showing this one-time early fluid change extends the life significantly.

I am planning on changing the other fluids at least by half the recommended interval. Ounce (quart) of prevention thing.

Enjoy your new truck!
