I see conflicting information on the charging port type. News was that its supposed to be NACS, but chevy website shows NACS adapters are available, which would indicate it is not a NACS port.
Can any owners of a 2026 Equinox say if their charging port is a CCS or NACS type ?

Model Year 2027 is NACS. Before that is CCS(1). The best networks (IONNA, Walmart, etc.) will be installing CCS for years, so I wouldn’t be concerned with either.

Keep in mind Tesla switched to the CCS communication standard (ISO 15118) around 2020, so from a DC charging standpoint NACS and CCS1 are the exact same thing, just a different shaped plug. That’s why the adapters are “dumb” - no communication equipment.

Understood, thanks. I was mostly concerned as it would matter for getting the right connector on the level 2 home charging unit i want to get installed.
