Meh, I think it’s pretty ugly. The current gen 4Runner might have been outdated a decade ago but at least looked good. The proportions of the new one, especially the rear 1/3, are just weird.

Granted I had a rental on flat Indiana roads, but my 2023 MY rental scooted along just fine.

I elected to buy another 5th gen rather than wait to see a 6th gen. Now that I've seen a 6th gen, I prefer the 5th gen interior and exterior styling.

Ours can do it no problem. Granted it needs to downshift and rev, but so do most NA engines.
