Whichever is cheaper... Your Toyota won't care in the slightest.
Now, if you're going beyond 10k miles their would be an argument for Fram TG.

There is an argument for different segments (OTR w/big sumps) but in a Corolla w/a little sump capacity just getting new oil in there is not a big deal or price barrier.

The Toyota OEM filters have one of the lowest filtration efficiencies of any filter (around 50%).
I prefer the Fram Extra Guard (95% efficiency for particles > 20 microns).
You can get it from Amazon for $3.50 with subscribe and save. It's marketed as a 10,000 mile filter.

You want the oil filter which performs filtration to have high efficiency so it removes all the small metal particals from the oil
so that those small particles don't get in between the moving parts of the engine via the oil and cause wear.

Best way to avoid an oil filter failure is to not run one at all, since "nothing else matters" wrt oil filters.

It’s a depreciating asset at best and a financial liability at worst. I want them to last awhile but don’t want to spend on them unnecessarily. OEM equipment and specified fluids can certainly achieve that harmony in most situations.

My '68 Corvette Roadster 427 is worth a lotta money. If it keeps appreciating, someday it might be close to what I have in it.

It was a joke. This car is the most expensive I have ever owned. And I don't even drive it. It is up in Gig Harbor, WA at my BIL's place. He has the room and did some finishing work. I gave him the new rag top and interior pieces. He loves it, so that's good.

There is putting money in and then there is....
Doing a car like this is a labor of love. Do not keep your receipts, and certainly do not ever add them up.

My advice, which is bought and paid for, is, always start with the best at you can. Problem is, nowadays even junk classics are filthy expensive. I paid like $10,500 for this car back in the early 1990s; it was all there but a rough driver. It is a numbers car...

Toyota sells a made in Japan oil filter at USA dealers now for the Tundra. It’s a little shorter than the F1. I’m going to get a couple. Maybe whip city will cut one open. About $7, red abbv. Not sure if 2024 Corolla has to have the short N1, or has space for the longer ones, or if has been covered before. 90915-10010
