After an almost 2 yrs wait, I finally took delivery of my 2023 Ford Bronco.
Here's the UOA of the Factory Fill after 1,000 miles, a pic of when it was delivered, and the 3rd pic was sent by Ford after it rolled off of the assembly line in Dearborn, MI
I replaced the Factory Fill with Amsoil SS 5w-30

Great time to dump the ff oil. Lots of silicon. Are you going to do a uoa test regularly?

Good move to replace the FF. Consider short ocis with all that fuel. .02

Decent report overall for a FF.

I’m always happy to see it get dumped early and sampled. I’m in the camp that you can instantly see the health of an engine with the way the FF looks. An engine that didn’t fit together neatly will show excess metal instantly, IMO.

That’s a good amount of fuel in there. Wondering how it will look after a good 5,000 miles.

They probably get a lot of short runs with the engine ran just long enough to get on and off the trailer, move around the dealership lot etc. It'd be interesting to see how much that improves with normal driving.

I do it too - manufacturing concerns - and always figure FF is the bulk of all bulk unless they disclose what the FF actually is only one way I know what’s in it …

That's great to hear! It can be very interesting to see & feel like we're doing a checkup on our rides via a UOA. We then can create a OCI plan from there following the results.
