What a great post season thus far.
Sullivan has done ok I think.
Not since winning the Cup in 2017, this is like Dan Bylsma all over again.
I like this Blues team but man Colorado has been a machine.
My late wife who disliked sports of all variations, for some unknown reason fell in love with the Avalanche when the Nordiques moved here to CO. She was a Peter Forsberg and Patrick Roy fan as am I and we watched and attended games during those early years for the Avs. More than a few were during the playoffs and post-season hockey is such a great time to be in the arena during a run for the cup.
I hadn't watched much the last few years, mostly just being busy but also due to the local station in a fight with Kroenke Sports so no games were televised. However, late this season I started paying attention again and in her honor, I was able to get a couple of our kids' schedules to align and we went to a game with them and the grandkids. We had a great time together. Lots of good players on the team today but MacKinnon and Makar are fun to watch. Go AVS Go!!

Enough American NHL talk. Who is gonna win “battle of Alberta” playoff series? I’m hoping Flames
If they can shut down McDavid? He was a beast in the first round. Whoever wins is going to have a tough time playing the Av's in the west final.
Wow, a lot of people are counting the Blues out. They are a very good team albeit somewhat of a dark horse this year but that is what a lot of people thought a few years back when they won the cup. Colorado who steamrolled in Nashville team that was without their Vezina finalist goaltender, the Blues will be an entirely different opponent with many players remaining from that Cup team. I think whoever wins this series wins the Western conference.
I think that Calgary will survive Edmonton in 7 games and this will be a historic series.

I think Edmonton in 7. McDavid and Draisaitl come alive and Smith hangs touch. I think Johnny hockey will be no match for the Oil. Markstrom will be vulnerable after a 7 game series against the Stars.

I think Calgary will win in less then 7 games.
Regarding the upcoming Battle of Alberta, I'll let make a prediction as early as a week from now, certainly no later than 10 or 12 days.

I sure as heaven hope the Lightning wipe the ice tonight with Panthers. Carolina should handle Rangers easy too hopefully.

What a letdown the Panthers have been, embarrassing even. I have a strong inclination to believe that the Lightning will be returning to the Stanley Cup Final this year.
Panthers were and still are a JOKE. Couldn’t beat Avalanche in 96’
