I watched this video late night on YT. I was surprised at the result. I think MW tested the GLI and it did 101mph in the 1/4 mile.
All of them faster than many big boats with V8’s a few years back

Going to sign papers on mine in the morning. Truck won't be here till evening as its being shipped up from their sister dealer down south. I'll pick it up in the evening when the wife can go with.
Lol, right. I have a feeling the wife is going to snag it from me most days. She's still waffling on what she wants to replace her wrecked Accord with.Very cool. Enjoy your new truck.
You may have already found this but the Ranger5G forum is pretty good. Lots of information and help there if needed.Lol, right. I have a feeling the wife is going to snag it from me most days. She's still waffling on what she wants to replace her wrecked Accord with.
Given the break-in shearing, I'd nix the 5,000-mile OCI's for the next couple, going with 3,000-mile intervals instead. This is the first UOA on my Ranger and the 2.3L EB. I sent samples to Wix and Blackstone. The numbers are actually pretty close. I noticed Wix does not do flashpoint and fuel contamination but do include TBN. My engine is not bad but I've found that these engines are tough on oil and suffer from fuel in the oil. Think I'll be sticking with a 5k OCI. M1 EP 5w-30 went back into the engine.
Why?I don't know if I would have used M1 EP just yet given it has some PAO at least it used to.
True. But with the engine still breaking in, short OCI's are needed. The Ranger's a good-looking little truck.Looks like Quaker State did just fine.
Oil Changers started using Kendall in January 2021. Apparently it is "obtainanium" out here.I've never seen Kendall on the left side of the country. I am considering a 0/5W-40 in the future.

There is one and only one thing I do not care for about the new Ranger...the rake. It has its behind up in the air.
I will watch these UOAs closely. I see a very durable truck, and one that is on my future shopping list.
