I'd rather have a Maloo, if they still made them. It still pains me every time I think about GM killing Holden. I think GM could capture more sales if they just brought the Holden portfolio to the States. The engineering is done; why not capitalize on all the shared parts? Subaru has done it for decades, and sales have only gone up for the past decade, including the entire time during the Great Recession.

The current C7 vette has a near 50:50 f/r weight distribution, dang good. .... However, this new mid-enigine layout should lower the yawing moment of inertia, increasing turning agility considerably, and a little rear weight bias should help peak yaw rates too.

Yes, like moving dumbbell plates from the ends to the middle …

Functionally it'll probably be great.

But as said above, El Camino... and the front looks like a Lamborghini.

They keep making each new model uglier and uglier. The C5 is the prettiest Vette (IMO), the C6 isn't bad, the C7 looks like a transformer, and if this is the way the C8 is going to end up looking, it'll have to have a pork chop tied to the back of it to get dogs to chase it...

To me that the best looking Vette yet, if they can put a flat 6 or 8 twin turbo with a short stroke and big bore in it all the better.

No. This will be far more capable than the Supra. The Supra probably won't even be able to compete with a (cheaper) Camaro SS 1LE around a race track.

Yes, GM is making it's 8th Generation Corvette to compete with a badge-engineered Toyota.

They haven't lost anything.
