It was 113 in Phoenix, that's cold! I also didn't bring a jacket and it was raining. Typical Arizonian!

That was the best I could do too. I could have booked a tiny econobox car and saved maybe $50 on the whole trip.

Years ago I had an S-class rental that let me turn the heated and cooled seats on at the same time...it sounds totally counterproductive but it was totally amazing.

I got a 20% discount with my company code. This was pricing for a sedan too, they upgraded to the Cherokee since there were no other options.

I’ve always liked these Cherokees. BIL has a ‘16 V-6; and it has the same issues - wonky tranny, and weak AC (compressor actually failed last year)
But it is comfortable, fast, and very capable off-road.
