2018 Suburban transmission trouble for relatives

Transmission is wrecked. $4700 to rebuild it which does include factory upgrades whatever those are.

I'd prefer to upgrade it to a th400 myself.

I was going to say they should have driven to DFW, dropped truck w clinebarger and flown home to Oregon.

Not saying he's cheaper (no idea) but it'll then last forever. I hope their local rebuilder knows what he's doing.

Thats surprising. It includes labor to RNR it out and back into the truck and and its a 4x4 too.

It wouldn't make it......Getting stranded on I40 somewhere would suck.

These can get high with both the radiator & condenser needing replaced if contaminated bad enough.

I was wondering if they were still running the fluid through the radiator tank to cool it. I know Jeep got away from that in 07.
