Mo..the "W" is what matters in winter...within limits. Yea..if I lived in the SW, I probably would switch to a 30 from a 20 or at least put a couple of quarts of 30 with the 20.

It is a Pella 6000. And i'm not sure if it is exactly the same but yes, the dipstick tube has a curve about halfway in.
