2018 Subaru Crosstrek - Thoughts?

I thought that, too? The CrossTrek is targeted at the 20-something childless crowd who wants something that looks like a Nike shoe to "get to the trailhead". Bonus points for driving alone with an N95.....

It seems to be the car that late 20-something cool kids around here drive. There are 2 in our lot of 25 employees at work, beat only by F150’s, which are driven by the 35+ crowd.

My TR580 had a bearing failure. I changed the fluid at 90k and the bearing failed at 130k. A roller bearing, which I dont consider a wear item. Idk what i would do differently. I guess more frequent fluid changes?

The CVT does seem like a weakpoint but no brand is perfect, pick your weak point.

I think you can reliably get 100k miles out of them, after that its a toss up. So are alot of cars.
