Mobil 1 FS European Car Formula 5W-40 or Quaker State Full Synthetic Euro 5W-40? The $5 difference from Walmart is negligible to me. Car is a daily driver that will see some track use (~twice/year). Stage 1 tune (increased boost, more aggressive timing), stock cats.

Agree, but I'd run Mobil 1.

I’d run Mobil 1 out of habit and familiarity. Tuned + track use warrants using a LL-01 (non-FE).

Curious why you are choosing a 5w-40 over the more common Mobil 1 0w-40?

Mobil 1 0W40 FS. 5W40 doesn’t have PAO. 0W40 does.
