2015 Subaru Outback rust

My mother just gifted my son an outback. It has 112K now. I just poured some money into it to catch up on some maintenance that should have been done earlier. It has some rust underneath that doesn't look terrible. Everything is still solid and it passed inspection no problem. I live in VA where the cars don't really rust underneath. Nevertheless, should I do anything proactively? I have been thinking about a rust converter followed by something like fluid film. I have never done anything like this before. Besides rubber and plastic parts and the exhaust system, what other areas should I avoid? What about the suspension?

If it's not too bad yet, you don't need the rust converter. Just use the fluid film other other rustproofing oil spray. It won't eliminate the existing rust, but it will stop the rust from getting worse

Sand and paint anything visible. Fill any cavities with fluid film to stop any existing rust.

Fluid Film or Surface Shield.

My vote goes wire wheel loose rust, Por-15 paint to seal over existing rust, and Fluid Film everything.

Thanks, all. The worst visible parts are the suspension components. Fluid film can be sprayed on those, right? This car is just to get my son through college, so I don't think I am going to keep it more than 3 years.
