My 2015 Lexus GS 350 currently has 92,000 miles. Has no drivability issues. Idle is smooth, acceleration normal. Gas mileage has decreased but I attribute that to winter gas and winter tires. Should I clean the MAF sensor preemptively? Seems simple to do with the correct MAF specific spray. Or should I leave well enough alone!

Has it been cleaned before? The throttle plate might be worse off than the MAF, but the both could be cleaned if you are looking to tinker with these things. Get the correct cleaner for the MAF, and regular Brake Clean can clean the throttle plate. Research on YouTube the proper procedures.

Neither has been cleaned before. I ordered both correct cleaners, but just unsure if they should be done preemptively or when symptoms develop.

That's a great engine. When I had a GS 350 I cleaned the throttle body and maf and changed the spark plugs at 90K miles. Zero difference it drove great before and after. If you take care of these cars they are tanks IMO.
