I was thinking just the opposite, I'm amazed Ford can built a 200mph car for only $50k or so, that's cheap!

OTOH I wonder if it will be as stable over 150 as a Porsche Carrera 4S.

Time will tell, but go Ford!

WOW is a word that fits.

But you can't touch one around here at sticker.

Like when the GT came out, wait a year.

I was laughing at the local Ford dealer that was trying to get $50k over MSRP on a GT when in the Dupont Registry they had them at sticker all over.

What for $50k I can't pay DAS a couple grand to bring me one? LOL.

SAME HERE!!

(Especially to either a 2 door Focus, or Fiesta, with a high boost/built 2 liter Ecoboost, and AWD with a biasable center diff!

I think the only reason they brought the Chili Cookoff dude back into the fold was because of marketing, and the multitudes who would buy the cars because his name was on them, sadly enough.

it could still happen. SRT is now a stand alone division of Chrysler and is making big money. Wait till you see the new VIPER!

But Ford is hampered by the management. All they need is a couple of car nuts to get in there and stir things up.

Great for bragin' rights, but can it actually use all that power? What are the performance numbers?

Same here with the ZL-1 5th gens, gouging the DAYLIGHTS out of them, as they are REALLY playing on (TOO MUCH) the limited build run on these.

Yes, I've heard about that quite sick BEAST, sadly enough for my beloved carbon package/enhanced suspension optioned Z06es (and maybe even the ZR1!!

^^Hahaha, yeah that pitiful measly lil ole N/A V-10.

But I mentioned it more as an example of what happens when real car guys run the show. SRT has a lot more cool stuff coming.

Its amazing how far the Viper has come, the first ones had the quality of kit cars and the interiors of Neon's.

Yea, but they always looked awesome. A '96-'02 GTS still has great road presence, and probably always will.
