The rear end looks like a Focus. Kinda like they put all their brains into making the front end but slapped a Focus rear end on it.

Are you referring to the second picture? That's not Fusion. That's Aston Martin that the OP posted for comparison purposes.

Love the looks, but I don't think the 2.0EB will keep up with the current 3.5, or other V6 offerings from competitors. I guess time will tell. It will still sell well.

I wouldn't really consider them "real" engine options...unless a "real" engine only consists of a 4-banger. I think many would still prefer the option of a V6 vs. boosted 4.

When Ford owned Jaguar and Aston Martin, Ian Callum (sp?) was the designer at both marques, before he moved to Jaguar exclusively.

Recent Jaguars from 2004 or so look much like Astons, because they were desigined by the same person. Callum is still at Jaguar.

Callum's styling drections have been widely copied, for good reason.

Ian Callum's brother, Moray Callum, designed the 2013 Fusion. Hyundai/Kia have been heavily drawing from Ford of Europe (kinetic) styling for the last few years.
