I had a misfire fixed with new coil/plug rear bank of 2013 Acura RDX(185k) drove 20 miles and then new code P0174 which seems to be rear bank according to ChatGPT . Are these related typically? I will will drive 500 miles this week commuting and get looked at by same mechanic.

P0174 is bank 2 system too lean, and on a transverse V6, bank 2 is the front. Often caused by a vacuum leak or an oxygen sensor.

What kind of coils did the shop use?

The diagnosis of misfire was based on moving the coil and code followed to next cylinder . The entire repair was $250 for diagnosis and coil by a component mechanic.
I had the codes backwards(before coffee today) I thought you were getting a misfire after.

I'd suspect they disturbed something with the repair that caused a vacuum leak.
It might be something crumbled/cracked having 13 years old engine hoses besides the more obvious didnt reassemble correctly.

Needs proper diag. Smoke the intake and make sure there are no leaks. Has it been confirmed that the lean condition is only affecting one bank, or is bank 1 just on the verge of popping a P0171?
