Here are pics from the factory AC Delco plugs out of my 2012 Verano with right at 60k on them. I replaced them with another set of OEM Delco Iridium.

Two look white, two look tan. Interesting.
I think it's always good with aluminum heads to change (or at least r & r) plugs at an earlier interval than the 100,000 mile mark to make sure the threads aren't seized.

Those cars are endless moneypits as they age. Too weird to see a modern car needing sparkplugs by 60k miles. Good decision on putting iridium ones.

Probably or a major vacuum source is near those cylinders. I would love to see an engine with a A/F monitor on every cylinder just to see what the different effects are.
It would also allow the ecm to tweak each cylinder individually. The drawback is cost.

The PCV system on these ecotecs pull crankcase vapours into the intake manifold right where it bolts to the head. The orifice is between cylinders 2 and 3. Maybe this could account for the different color of two of the plugs but it looks like plug 3 and 4 are the darker ones unless they have been mixed up.

I replaced them as PM rather than them needing them. With the rebate I only have like $2 per plug.

Fair enough. Realistically, though, those plugs could have probably gone at least twice as many miles, if not triple.

I'll be hitting 100k in the next month on my Verano. Will be replacing the plugs. Other than filters and tires I've nothing to this car.
