Hi guys.
1000kms to early to switch to synthetic engine oil?
Car has done 1100kms.2.0L 4 cylinder auto.

1100 km only? I'd say you're throwing out perfectly good oil if you change it that early. My TDIs go 16k km on the factory fill and every OCI afterwards.

When does the manual indicate the first oil change is due?

Don't waste your time or money, or that perfectly good FF for that matter.

No reason why that factory fill can't stay in there for at least 6500-7000 miles (um is that 11000 km?)

QS synthetic only on the cars made in the USA.

yes 1100kms on the clock.just bought a jug of Fuchs Titan GT1 0w-20.

That is an excellent oil. Just make sure this viscosity fulfills your warranty requirements.

Fuchs Australia website and Hyundai Australia recommended 5w-20 to 20w-50 in this model.

Keep the FF in for at least 5,000km. Get some value out of it....
