He's in Canada. Unless there is a NAPA store in Canada he'll pay shipping, local taxes and duty if it comes from the USA.

Yes I am in Canada but live 10min from the U.S.A border. We do a lot of our shopping in the U.S. I will check with NAPA in Port Huron Michigan about ordering the PU or M1. Would the PU be a better oil for this vehicle? I am looking for a great performance oil that will be changed once per year with only about 3,000 miles on the oil.

Mobil 1 0w40 is what used to be recommended for these cars before the corporate changeover with Fiat.

My local Chrysler dealer carries and uses it (and that's where I buy it for my car) and that would be the oil I recommend you use.

You might want to be careful on that, with regards to your warranty.

Right in your owners manual, it says that you must not exceed 6 months or 6,000 miles during an oil change interval.

You might want to talk this over with your service department at your local dealerships to see what they would say or do if you brought in a car with only once a year oil change intervals, and only 3k miles a year on the car.

I have not done the first service yet but will be doing so in the spring. Car is stored for winter. The problem I have is I cannot find a good 5w40 oil in my area. I buy all my oil in Port Huron Michigan. Are there any good web sites to order oil from? Can I order oil from the chain stores, Autozone etc? I am looking for PU5w40, if possible. I can get 0w40 at Walmart but the owners manual specifically states 5w40.
Thanks in advance, Mike.

Try this web site > oil-store.com > if the PU5W 40 is what you want do not settle for anything else your Challenger deserves it.

Thanks, I did find that site but I was not sure how reputable they are. Has anyone from this site bought from them?

Consider locating a Mercedes Benz dealer and inquire about Mobil 1 5W-40 Formula M. Our local MB dealer charges $6/quart, which I believe is cheaper than what I can get Mobil 1 0W-40 for at Walmart.

Mobil 1 0W-40 should be a good choice too especially in colder climates.
