Looking at a 2011 - 2013 Toyota Tundra. Anyone have one that can give insights on it good or bad? I am looking at a V6 regular cab with under 60000 miles.

Any Engine problems?
Any Trans problems?
Any drivetrain vibration problems? I heard the older ones had vibration issues?

thanks

V6 Tundra is a rare bird unless it was a fleet sales bare bones stripper model. Regardless, those years got the upgraded V6, the same as my FJ has. Very smooth engine with plenty of power.

The truck should serve you well, and the 4.0 should pull a regular Cab around nicely.

I think the OP should buy that truck if the price is right, but your answer is silly. Are you saying Toyota's never haven any issues?

Good luck finding a Tundra that new in a 2 door regular cab. One out of 289 tundras in my market is a regular cab. A 2008 with 274,000 miles for $8k. You may have to go extended cab.

Titans usually have pretty bad resale value due to their gas mileage but if you don't need to put a lot of miles on that could work in your favor. They aren't up on that golden pedestal Toyota trucks sit on for perceived reliability.

Sometimes you can find the 1st generation Tundra in a regular cab with the 5VZ 3.4 V6 and a manual transmission. That would be a really reliable setup. There was a dented one around here for like 3 grand a few months ago.
